OMANG is a driving force for the department of child-youth in our local area, eliminating community stressors and shaping the future.
A multifaceted entity dedicated to fostering social justice and holistic development in children and youth, while also addressing the pressing issues of hunger and poverty.
Founded in April 2018 by a girl-child at the age of 15 ( Gomotsegang Nkadimang) in the Northern Cape Province, Kuruman.
It operates on an integrated approach, combining various strategies to tackle these interconnected challenges comprehensively.
The Organisation emphasis community engagement, education, health care, nutrition, empowerment, and skills development programs to create sustainable solutions.
Our Vision is to create a society where every child and youth has equal access to resources, opportunities, and rights, regardless of their background or circumstances. We envision a world where social justice is ingrained in every aspect of life, and where holistic development is prioritized as a fundamental human right. Through our multifaceted approach, we aim to inspire positive change, empoweer communities, and build sustainable pathways for growth and success for the younger generation. Together, we envision a future where children and youth are the architects of a more just, equitable, and more compassioate world.

Our Mission is to cultivate a world where every child and youth thrives with dignity, equity, and opportunity. We are dedicated to fostering social justice by addressing systematic barriers and empowering marginalized communities. Through holistic development programs, education initiatives, and advocacy efforts, we strive to create inclusive environments that nurture the physical, emotional, intellectual, and social well-being of young individuals.

BOY CHILD AND FARTHERS
Our Boys and Fathers Program is a specialized initiative designed to provide comprehensive support for the development of young boys. Through a variety of meticulously crafted activities, including workshops, outreach programs addressing substance abuse, and personalized one-on-one sessions with male role models, we aim to nurture and empower the next generation of young men.
HUNGER ALLEVIATION PROGRAMME
Our Hunger Alleviation Program is dedicated to mitigating hunger and food insecurity by fostering sustainable food systems. We achieve this by establishing vegetable gardens in schools, thereby providing students with access to safe, nutritious, and ample food resources to support their learning and well-being.
THE PLIGHT OF AN AFRICAN CHILD
The mission of the 'Plight of an African Child' project is to raise awareness surrounding the multifaceted challenges encountered by an African Child, By tackling issues including poverty, violence, abuse, familial instability, educational inequity, and limited access to healthcare, the project aims to advocate for meaningful change and advance the overall well-being of African children.
YOUTH LABOUR ACTIVATION PROGRAMME
We are pleased to announce our partnership with Beritam Projects and Training Solutions (Pty) Ltd, aimed at addressing the pressing issue of youth unemployment. Through comprehensive skills development initiatives, including diverse training and internship programs, we are dedicated to empowering young individuals with the necessary tools to thrive as entrepreneurs and successful business owners, making them competent in the challenging economic status we find ourselves in.
ENVIRONMENTAL SKILLS DEVELOPMENT INTERVENTION IN PUBLIC SCHOOLS
Our Organization is proud to partner with the Department of Forestry, Fisheries, and the Environment to launch an innovative environment skills development intervention in public schools. Through this initiative, we will introduce comprehensive environmental education programs aimed at equipping students with knowledge and skills necessary to address pressing environmental challenges.
By integrating environmental education info the school curriculum, we aim to cultivate a generation of environmentally conscious citizens who are equipped to tackle issues such as climate change, biodiversity loss, and pollution. Through hands-on activities, workshops, and experiential learning opportunities, students will gain practical skills in areas such as sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, waste management, and conservation.
This intervention holds significant potential for curbing hunger and poverty in our communities. By fostering an understanding for sustainable agriculture practices, students can contribute to food security by promoting efficient and environmentally friendly farming methods. Additionally, by encouraging entrepreneurship, and innovation in the green economy, we can create opportunities for job creation and economic empowerment, particularly in the marginalised communities.
